Parental alienation is the dynamic where one parent or side of a family attempts to alienate the affection of a child towards the other parent. They can do that through direct actions, indirect actions, consciously, subconsciously. It can also be done by blocking contact with the child. It can also be done by a process or a campaign of denigration of the other parent.
