A marital settlement agreement or an MSA is an agreement where the parties have resolved part or all of the disagreements that they have had or the issues they’ve had dealing with parenting issues, division of assets and liabilities, alimony, child support, attorney’s fees, and any other issue that they may have. Once a marital settlement agreement has been fully executed and resolved all the issues, you can take that to court and obtain an uncontested divorce.
