The types of void marriages in Florida are as follows: a bigamist marriage, which means you were married once before and not legally divorced. An incestuous marriage, which means you are having intercourse or getting married with someone who is too closely related to you by blood. Another one would be you are mentally incapacitated, and therefore could not logically consent to a divorce. A fourth category is you are incapacitated because of alcohol, drugs, or some other issue that did not permit you to have a knowledgeable consent to be married. Then the fifth one, currently which is under challenge, is if you are of the same sex.
