
Manuela Tomas
An accomplished paralegal, Manuela Tomas joins The Law Firm of Charles D.
Jamieson with four years of paralegal experience, and three years of
professional advertising experience with a major newspaper. Upon graduation with
a Bachelor of Arts in Art-History from the University of Bielefeld, Germany, Ms.
Tomas received her Legal Assistant/Paralegal Certificate in 2003 and became a
certified paralegal in 2008. Her paralegal
background includes two years with the West Palm Beach, Florida Attorney
General’s Office where she drafted complaints, affidavits, pleadings,
client correspondence and settlement agreements. In addition, she conducted
legal research and summarized depositions. Following her two years with
the Attorney General’s Office, Ms. Tomas served in private practice in the area
of civil litigation where she interviewed clients and witnesses, prepared
discovery, and was a paralegal office manager. Fluent in three languages
(German, Serbo-Croatian and English), Ms. Tomas continues her work as a
paralegal with The Law Firm of Charles D. Jamieson drafting legal documents, meeting and corresponding with clients, conducting legal research,
case management and preparing for hearings, depositions and trials. Manuela
Tomas also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Pre-Law and Political
Science.
