
Elizabeth A. Tener, Esq.
A dedicated legal professional, Elizabeth Tener began her career with the
State Attorney’s Office in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she prosecuted over
50 jury and non-jury trials, both misdemeanors and felonies. Ms. Tener gained
valuable experience interacting with children and families during her placement
in the Juvenile Division. Ms. Tener managed a large caseload from arraignment
through discovery, to plea negotiation or trial. Ms. Tener is skilled in legal
research, examining evidence, drafting and arguing motions, cross examining
experts, conducting depositions, interacting with victims and preparing
witnesses for trial. Ms. Tener quickly gained the respect of her colleagues and
became responsible for training and supervising new attorneys as a Division
Chief in County Court.
Elizabeth Tener graduated early from the University of Miami School of Law in
December of 2003 and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2004. During law school,
Ms. Tener was exposed to many different areas of the law while working as a law
clerk for different firms practicing worker’s compensation, personal injury,
probate, real estate, insurance defense and general civil litigation. Ms. Tener
also was active in the University of Miami School of Law’s Center for Ethics and
Public Service and was selected as a Steel Hector & Davis Fellow for her
dedication to the Community Health Rights Education group. As an attorney, Ms.
Tener continues her commitment to excellence as a member of the Palm Beach
County Bar Association, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and the Young
Professionals North Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce.
